April 29th - Have been in contact with Guy from JUICE FM's Guy and Andrea Breakfast show and they might be interested in taking part. I suggested that they could come down and do a presentation or give advice to people interested in radio or working in the media.

April 28th - After a call out for volunteers to help with setting the event up we now have about 4-5 helpers. Some students from the University of Brighton and some people who live near BLANK gallery. Unfortunately, John from Southdown Fine Arts Ltd is unable to do the event now.

April 27th - I heard from Judy Stevens, HOUSE festival organiser, that she has secured £1500 from Brighton and Hove City Council and that we would be getting £450 towards covering our costs. This is fantastic news. Even though the premise of the project is that we didn't recieve funding, £450 wouldn't have had been enough to cover the original proposal.

April 26th - Johanna from BLANK gallery has been running up and down Boundary Road talking to participants and has also been into Sami-Swoi, a polish restuarant that is interested in taking part and maybe offering some free nibbles + a demonstration.

April 25th - Met Gary and Barry from Gambit Gaming in BLANK gallery to look at the space and talk about how their workshops could run. They plan on really going to town and bringing a display cabinet to show off their various models and armies.

April 16th - Met Lucinda, the founding Director of Vocademy, and she enthusiasticly agreed to participate. She plans to do a performance with some of her singing tutors and a PA system followed by a 1hr workshop for up to 15 people.  Lucinda had some great ideas about getting the event to the press and getting some attention. So we plan to hit the local papers and radio stations soon.
